Centuries of charm and intrigue characterize the story of the villa, now lovingly owned and restored by the Hopkinson family. Once known as Villa Cesare, this 17th-century treasure evolved from a castello into a private residence, and then into the iconic "Pensione Castello" hotel in the 1960s.
Villa Issima is more than a comfortable yet luxurious dream destination—it’s an experience shaped by travel, culture, and hospitality as well as artistic and culinary style and flair.
The Hopkinson family, who currently own the villa, have called four continents home.
They have lovingly renovated this architectural Italian gem to reflect the best of their adventures and to offer guests all that they have grown to appreciate and savour during their travels.
